Lift Check Valve with Increased Flow Resistance is a check valve in which the disc, sometimes called a lift, can be lifted up off its seat by higher pressure of inlet or upstream fluid to allow flow to the outlet or downstream side. Lift Check Valve with Increased Flow Resistance is used in systems in which frequent flow reversals may be encountered the valves may have a tendency to chatter. This can be corrected by equipping the valve with outside lever & weight. It may be used to add weight to disc quicker closing against backflow preventing water hammer & excessive shock pressure.
